Whether you are a lone chicken or protecting your flock;
I'll help you be the best defender that you can be.
At The Warrior Chicken, we believe safety training should feel empowering—not intimidating. We teach real-world, confidence-building defense for real people: new gun owners, cautious carriers, concerned parents, and anyone ready to stop being an easy target. With a calm, friendly approach, we make essential skills—threat awareness, de-escalation, self-defense, and trauma care—accessible, practical, and even fun. By the end of your class, you’ll walk out ready to protect your flock without losing your feathers. Our team brings decades of experience from military service, security, fitness, and personal protection—all united by a single mission: help everyday people live safer, stronger lives.
David, our Training Director and USCCA Certified Instructor, has over 35 years of experience turning complex safety concepts into clear, relatable training. A former Navy Cryptologic Technician with extensive cross-branch military training, David specializes in early danger recognition, less-lethal options, and responsible defensive decision-making. Students train with him because he makes safety make sense—empowering, engaging, and “worth every penny.”
Megan brings a lifetime of athletic discipline, leadership, and high-level fitness expertise to the team—along with years of real-world security experience as a Texas Level 3 officer and Level 4 bodyguard. Whether she’s coaching physical readiness, teaching protective skills, or writing to inspire others, she serves with heart, precision, and a deep commitment to her community.
Kaycee, who first learned to shoot as a teen, specializes in women’s and girls’ protection. With a warm, relatable teaching style, she walks students through everyday scenarios and helps them recognize danger early, avoid risky situations, and respond confidently when it counts. Her passion has always been helping people—now she does it by keeping them safe.
Together, we’re here to help you build the mindset and skills of a protector—one calm, practical step at a time.
